Introducing Adminovate - Innovation in Funds Conference

We’ve been working on something big over the last few months here in Fund Recs HQ and we’re delighted to announce that the Fund Recs’ inaugural Innovation in Funds conference, Adminovate, is scheduled for January 2018.

We’re partnering with Norio Ventures on this one and can’t wait to welcome you all to Trinity College Dublin to explore innovation in the Funds Industry.

What is Adminovate?

Adminovate is a one-day conference that we've created to showcase innovation in people, processes and technology across the Industry. We’re bringing together 300 attendees and 35+ industry experts for a series of presentations and panels with a strong focus on educating people about what’s coming down the tracks.

Adminovate will be an opportunity to network, collaborate and make sense of changes in the industry.

We’ve all heard words like SaaS, Blockchain and AI being bandied about over the last few years. Up until I started working with Fund Recs, while I had a broad idea of what these things were, I didn’t have a clue about how they would affect me and what I do. Part of the goal behind Adminovate is to demystify the innovations that are knocking on the door of the Funds Industry.

Why create Adminovate?

Fund Recs are a team of recovering Fund Accountants so we know the pain points for Operations staff in the industry. Back and middle office staff are the ones who will be most affected by technological advances and yet we’ve attended Funds conferences all over Europe where there’s not an Ops person in sight. We want to change that.

We believe that we’re at a tipping point in the Funds Industry.

With Fund Managers and in turn Fund Service Providers being squeezed on fees, the only way to increase the bottom line is to reduce costs. And the only way to significantly reduce costs is through innovation and automation. We hope that you will leave Adminovate with a better understanding of how this influx of innovation will affect you, your day to day job, and the industry as a whole.

Sounds great, where and when is it on?

We’ve been lucky enough to be able to book a space in the picturesque Trinity College Dublin for the event, which will take place on Wednesday January 10th 2018. We want Adminovate to be accessible to all so we’ve done our best to keep ticket prices reasonable. €99 early bird tickets are available up until the September 30th 2017.
